Atherton Family Estate

The property beckoned – it had a guest house for in-laws, a large backyard anchored by a century old oak tree, and the most picturesque front porch. But the foundation of the home was failing. Our clients struggled for months deciding whether it was worth the expense to repair it. Our work started by re-working the floor plan of the existing home. We created a conceptual design package by preparing 3-D renderings and developing floor plans. When the project scope switched from a remodel to a new build, we handed our ideas off to an architect and dove into the preparation of interior architectural drawings detailing all finishes throughout the house. We prepared Interior Elevations, Floor Plans showing flooring finishes and electrical layouts, a complicated trim and millwork package, a custom vent hood design, and all paint and finish schedules. We then collaborated with our client on furniture, lighting, and window treatment selections and finally assisted with art placement during installation.
