Perched on the hills above SFO, this new build was the product of multiple creative minds. Its architect, a close friend of the owners, spent the bulk of his career designing airports, and the influence shows. Unusual angles, generous curves, and an abundance of windows gave the home its uniqueness and created equally distinctive challenges for the design. Designed for a young family of five, the home needed to be simultaneously livable and elevated. Custom millwork, playful patterned upholstery, culturally interesting art create a space that feels elgant and approachable.
