Dining area with abstract chandelier and built in fireplace

Silicon Valley Ranch

This project started with a small lot and a big dream in the heart of Silicon Valley.  The initial objective of the project was to capture additional square footage for a new Kitchen and Great Room.  With a small footprint and a directive to design a kitchen that could accommodate a 12’-0” long island and dining for a large family, we had our work cut out for us.

Not without its challenges, this project endured months of permitting delays, various contractors, and the birth of the owner’s third child, yet we succeeded in designing a home that would become the envy of the neighborhood.  The end result was a gorgeous sun-filled home with vaulted ceilings, skylights, a modern fireplace, colorful art and furniture, and a much-improved floor plan.
